Biography
Head of digging and scavenging expeditions, Runea was always confident in her work. She was deterred from no land, no element. Incidentally, this included the Plague lands. She was curious, is all, after listening to her mother's scorn against the clan so fervently. So in she went, doing what she does best, and relishing in the results. That is, until she came across something peculiar.
A slimy, almost gelatinous green egg.
A plague dragon egg.
Mom was gonna kill her.
Secrets in her lair hardly ever failed to reach Terissa's ears. Runea was scolded for bring back the egg, and her mother was very close to demanding that she rid of it post haste. However it was painfully obvious that Runea had become desperately attached to it, and thus was, begrudgingly, allowed to keep it, on the condition that whatever hatched out of it was heavily conditioned in its loyalty to the lair and teachings of the Shadowbinder. Runea agreed, and thus Viries was hatched and raised into the Kivuli clan.
How ironic it was that Terissa's first and, (at the time), only grandchild was of Plague decent.
Viries tends to keep to herself, though is often seen hanging around one of her aunties. Valdis also ended up being a close friend of hers, with both of them stemming from the same flight, much to their leader's dismay. Though it seems Terissa has gotten over her prejudice well enough, at least for someone she had to consider family. After all, family was one of the most important things to her.
Perhaps some of it stemmed from the fact that plague-hearted dragons with shadow-bound minds were.. dangerously resourceful.
