Biography
The Earthen Maiden
Alwyn actively sought out the clan upon hearing they were researching dragons with strange mutations and additional abilities. While she always considered hers somewhat beneficial, she had been becoming rather annoyed with it. She had a similar situation to the one Basah had found himself in; no matter how much or how little she ate, she seemed to steadily gain additional weight. She did eventually learn to make use of the extra weight and made a name for herself as a warrior pearl catcher, one such who used their pearl as a combat weapon rather than relying solely on spellcraft for protection, although light and shadow constructs were a part of her battle plan as well. She would often leave battles uninjured with multiple combatants crippled in her wake. Yet and still, the ever present weight and the fact it seemed to appear out of thin air was something that made her curious. So she sought out the clan that already countless numerous "oddballs " in its ranks already.
What she found when she was tested was that her scales were photosynthetic, making sunlight into readily usable energy for her to subsist off of, and effectively rendering any additional food unnecessary. And as to how she escaped brutal combat with few if any injuries, it was discovered that she could harden her excess flesh. Rather than embarrassed, she felt quite empowered by the revelations, making her feel even more like a warrior the gods could be proud of. She elected to stay with the clan and lend it her strength.
While there, she caught the eye of Gallus the snapper. A plague dragon who spent most of his life in the Wasteland, he admired Alwyn's direct combat style and had a respect for her abilities, thinking she'd fair exceptionally well in his old home. The feeling was mutual, the female seeing a fine warrior in Gallus and a formidable sparring opponent. They mated and now serve as parents to Galuwyn the bounty hunter and new hatchlings Galun and Alwua.
