Biography
Tuenth, the ranger
Sitting on the ground before you is a glass jar that seems to have a dark cloud restlessly pressing against the inside of the glass. Without really thinking about what you’re doing or why, you reach down and pick it up, then twist the cap off of the jar. A surprising amount of fog flows out of the jar and into the air, but unlike normal fog, it seems to have a purpose and rise into the air rather than sink to the ground -- high enough for you to see at eye level.
To your great surprise, the fog begins to form pictures which are amazingly detailed, and you quickly realize that this is a message of sorts. The first image is clearly yourself, and depicts you with a light shining from behind you. Resting beside you is a crate that you recognize as containing supplies -- a crate you sent to Eva and the other members of Wind Flight to help in their efforts.
Moments later, the fog shifts and the picture changes. It shows an skydancer and a whole host of other dragons, their wings drooping and heads held low, clearly exhausted. This picture holds for a moment or two, until the fog shifts ever so slightly, and your crate appears. The dragons’ heads turn in the direction of your crate, and quickly begin to perk up. Some take off and fly off out of the picture, while others help the weakest dragons to the crate’s edge.
Moment later, the scene shifts again, and you’re left with a plain background on which a skydancer’s face is superimposed at life size. She offers you a smile, and one small nod. Below her face, in draconic runes at the bottom of the fog-image, is the text, ‘Thank you.’
After a minute or two, that image fades, and the fog slips back into the jar, where it waits for you to put the lid back on. You have a feeling that any time you wish to watch it again, you need only open the jar to see the message repeat.
