SASPTAR
The sky is truly the most comforting thing in this cold world |
Sasptar came from the sky, but also the land. A strike of lightning onto the largest pine tree in the forest brought Sasptar and his brother Aldebaran into life. Sasptar kept the embers from this tree as a keep sake and a reminder of where he came from. Both also had a familiar with them, one for each brother. Sasptar's familiar seemed to be a fierce looking bird which would perch upon trees and Sasptar's horns when travelling. He didn't mind this and liked the idea of something protecting him and his brother. Sasptar went about the tundra searching for a home with his brother remaining distant from modernized dragons and lands, instinctively preferring life near nature; being cautious of futuristic things. Sasptar came to the den before Aldebaran, peeking into the den's entrance seeking shelter and also out of curiosity of other dragons. The den was fascinated and interested as to who he was and what his story is and let him stay. Sasptar is quiet, but loves to give speeches, especially ones about some kind of worldly wisdom or way about life. Sasptar is mostly only talkative to his brother and Shinybiscuit, at first only because he was intrigued by her small size and many eyes, but then because he became friends with her over their shared oddity and other things. Sasptar seems to have some kind of ancient, celestial wisdom or magical sense to him. His strange 'birth' story and his oddness perplexes the rest of the den, but they treat him as any other dragon, giving part of the food each day and clothes to wear and choose from. Despite his quiet nature and almost feral disposition, Sesptar is just as intelligent as a regular dragon. Sasptar can be seen sitting near the waterside or up in a tree, often finding strange objects to bring back to the den.
