Biography

Vandyl, The right hand to Artemis, higher Council member, and Commander of the Hearth Guard. Vandyl is probably the only dragon Artemis trusts. Of course, Vandyl abuses this trust by taking any opportunity to irritate them occasionally.

Vandyl is very open about her past, she comes from a clan that was a bit not fitting with her nature, which tended to be one minded about everything. She left (or was basically let go) when she decided she wanted to set her own path. Vandyl came across Artemis after traveling for weeks by herself. Artemis didn't need a companion, Vandyl stuck around her anyways.

During this time, something that neither reveals has taken place. It's assumed that it was something dire, because the event in question caused them to be closer than ever. What happened that one day, why Artemis places so much trust in her, no one knows.
Vandyl knows, she will never tell.

Vandyl joined quickly alongside Artemis. She hesitated at first, due to being afraid of settling down and having to follow someone's lead. She eventually decided to join when Artemis took control, Vandyl considers it better them than anyone else.

She's very open and engaging, she's also as cunning and sly as they get, she's even a bit of a deadpan snarker. All in all, she's kind to the rest; almost too kind, one would say.

Most of the clan don't really think or talk about Vandyl. Dragons would just conclude that she's unassuming and helpful
The seers in the clan though (Valentina and Sceptre especially); they know the truth that's behind Vandyl's actions.
They can see her ulterior motives clear as day...

as far as looks? Artemis would've been the obvious choice, but it's so much more fun to imagine Vandyl as the most trusted advisor that betrays her leader to get ahead
