Almandine moves slowly and cautiously, no matter her surroundings. Younger dragons joke that she will collect dust, which makes the longterm library patrons and guests wince. They remember the last time she sped up, when something had gone very wrong indeed.

The Earth wing is home to the secrets of the Earth Flight. Almandine provides bags of salt to anyone wishing to view her fossil collection.
