Adami

Raised in the same lair as Allura had been, Adami learned to grow thick scales. He spent much of their hatchling years protecting his one true love from the bullies, as he wanted no harm to come to her. He knew from the time that he first laid eyes on her that she was his, and he would one day make her the happiest dragon to ever live. Or he would try to at least. As they aged, he could note that Allura only grew more beautiful, and he wanted to wisk her away so that she wouldn’t have to deal with their lair-mates a moment longer. He finally got up the courage to do so after a particular fight with his own parents. They wanted to arrange for him to mate with another dragon, something he did not want because there could only ever be one. Adami finally turned and asked her to runaway with him. They would find their own lair and make their own rules. Redirect the children who teased and give them something else to focus on. It took several days for Allura to come to the conclusion that this was what was best for them. They spent a year in search of the perfect place for a lair. Where they could lay many eggs and take care of all the hatchlings, even the ones that were adopted into their lair. To this day, you can feel the love the two have for one another and their many babies. No regret came from getting away together, in fact it turned out to be the best decision ever.
