Biography

Made by Drytil

Thanks for taking in Wynne! This lovely boy is trying to find himself by traveling to other lairs. Feel free to breed him, change his breed or genes or eyes, use him in the Coliseum and add to his lore. When you no longer want him, please send him back to smeen (194308) or leave a message in this thread. I can't tell you what to do, but I would prefer if you don't exalt him. Please don't keep him for longer than 7 days. Thanks again!

Heatherbed Lily Mage's Thicket Bag
Golden Silk Scarf

She looked at him with disappointment in her eyes. He never quite understood why, but the dragon that cared for him seemed to hate him. Wynne couldn't really remember doing anything wrong, he had hatched only months ago after all, but his caretaker really didn't want him around.

After trying his best to please his caretaker, Wynne had enough. His doubts and insecurities were getting the better of him and he recently noticed that he had started acting skittish and unpredictable. Something had to be done. So Wynne dove down, towards the pool beneath his lair. As always, it was covered by thick, white mist. He could blend in with it, he could be erased from everyone's sight. It was tempting... So tempting, in fact, that Wynne flew into the mist. Maybe he wanted to disappear, maybe he wanted to find a purpose, he really didn't know. Wynne never expected to find anything.

"Why are you here, child?", the Mirror asked him. Her voice sounded hollow, it echoed of off nothing at all. Wynne was pretty sure that this was not a Mirror at all. Other dragons would be scared. He SHOULD be scared. But he was not. "I do not understand my place in this world.", he replied. "Who am I?" The Mirror didn't reply immediately, but her white, iridescent eyes stared at Wynne for a while. Was she, examining him? Was she looking for something? Wynne had no idea, but he stayed still and let the 'dragon' do her work. After a couple of very awkward minutes, she finally spoke. "There is potential in you, child. But it is hidden, your insecurities have clouded up your heart and you have lost track of your dreams. Try as you might, you will not find clarity here. Fly out across the world, meet new dragons, see new places. If you do that, you will find yourself once more." As soon as the last word was spoken, the Mirror dissipated into the mist and Wynne was left alone. But at least he had a plan now.

The next morning came, crisp and fresh, and Wynne was ready to depart. Without wishing anyone farewell (but the flowers he had thrown into the mist) he set off to new horizons. Whatever did Sornieth have in store for him?

Wynne eventually stumbled across a small clan of just 6 at the time, only encountering 2 in the Molten Scar in the Ashfall Waste. On his way he saw a strange skydancer with sky-blue markings carrying a bag that looked quite heavy. The moment the strange skydancer noticed him, the odd dragon took off into the sky quicker than Wynne could comprehend.

Upon entering the first thing he saw was a library, as he was walking towards it, he was interrupted greeted by a light blue Coatl with a tiger pattern on his body, crimson red eyes, and an odd circuit pattern that almost seemed to glow and metal pieces that seemed to be fully attached to his body. “Hello traveller! Welcome to my small little clan! I am Lunari!” the coatl exclaimed, “Let me show you around!

Let’s start at this library, this is Angelus’ library, he quite likes books, especially romance novels. He’s also an amazing singer!” The coatl knocked on the door and a loud crash is heard as if someone dropped something heavy, 15 or so seconds later another coatl answered the door. This Coatl had a rose body and fuschia wings, with extremely dark black markings around his legs, arms, tail, necks, and a tiny bit on his wings. He tipped his cap and said "Oh hey there, who is this Lunari?" Wynne decided to interrupt, "Hello, i'm Wynne. I'm travelling. I saw your small clan and decided to visit for a bit." Angelus invited Wynne in, upon entering the first thing that he noticed was a brick fireplace surrounded by couches and armchairs with a coffee table in the middle with a rug under it. The next thing Wynne noticed was the towering book cases, there were more books in there than Wynne would've thought. Suddenly a white dove swooped over and landed on Angelus' shoulder.

After the tour of the library, he Wynne decided it was time to go. Before he left the dove that was following Angelus flew to Wynne and give him a Heatherbed Lily. And then off on his way Wynne was once again.

Wynne flew until he reached the Sunbeam Ruins. Once there, he decided to rest and landed on a crumbled pillar. Suddenly, the calm was broken when a mirror jumped out of nowhere and landed right in front of him.

After a tense moment, the green winged mirror relaxed and looked at the travelling fae curiously. "It was just a child," she muttered to herself. "Are you lost, little guy?" she asked more loudly.

Wynne shugged. "I'm travelling," he said.

The mirror snorted. "Travelling? Not without any experience in battling you are not." The mirror turned around and headed towards her clan. "Are you comming, child? I have a lot to teach you. No dragon on their right mind would let a small thing like you out in the wild without some training."

And thus, Wynne was taken as an apprentice to Mourette, the mercenary of the Nael clan. Wynne was also gifted a small bag from his self appointed teacher. "Until you get a better one" she had said.

Unfortunately, Mourette fell ill soon after. She recovered, but by then Wynne was ready to follow the whims of the winds and travel some more. "I couldn't train you much," she had said when he was bidding goodbye. "I'm sure you'll find a master willing to take over where I left. Farewell, little guy."

The tiny Fae was exhausted as he finally made his way to the Tangled Wood, perching on a twisted tree branch to rest himself.

But the rustling caught the attention of a blind Pearlcatcher, guided to the Fae by the sounds. "I foresaw your arrival here, Wynne. You have travelled far, have you not?"

"H-How did you--" Wynne was rather taken aback.

"I am Rhodochrosite, seer of the Sassmaster Clan. I felt that you were coming. Come, you should rest. Dionysus and Hermes will be round to bring food shortly."

After a filling meal of spiced insect stew and being given a lovely golden scarf by Regina, Wynne was approached by a rather stoic-looking Imperial, a calico cat balanced on her shoulder.

"Someone as small as you needs training." Altani mused, beckoning Wynne to come with her. "All visitors to our clan receive a quick training session designed to increase travel fitness. You especially." After letting his dinner settle, Wynne was then off to his training.

And while the Sassmaster Clan were looking after him, he found himself enamored by a Wildclaw in the neighbouring Nomad Clan. Mayari gave him her support and after some time, they were to have a single child together.
