Biography

Quote:
Uh-oh, looks like this coatl wandered a little too far from his home lair 451985,Nekokitty813, and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but s/he would be very grateful!

Hailed from the Fortress of Ends, Morgwen was a tiny coatl born as sickly as they come. The harsh icey weather of his home land didn't help with his weak immune system and raspy breathes. His parents took him to every single healer they could find but to no avail. Desperate, his parents sent him off to the Everblooms garden hoping that the lush, green landscape would at least help. Morgwen was quickly sold to a nature clan who had promise to take as great of care as they could to him. Together they small clan nursed him, fed him only the most plumpest of fish and made sure he was warm at night. Miraculously, the young coatl slowly began to get better and better, much to the surprise of everyone! Though he still had a cough here or there and he was prone to more brushes than most, he lived a relatively normal life. With his health mostly restored, he wondered what he was going to do with the rest of his life. Sure, he could live a nice and cushy life in the floral and trees, but some part of him wanted more. At night he often wondered why he was even lucky enough to survive his sickness. Maybe.. just maybe... there were answers out there. After thinking about it a bit more, he decided that he would travel the world in search for his purpose. With sad goodbyes all around, he packed up some food and headed off with no clear destination in mind.

BluePterodactyl9

At the first stop on Morgwen's journey, he found himself in a Nature Clan called Brocéliande. The clan was delighted to have him, and he was comforted by the fact that over half the clan were coatls - he felt right at home among their chattering and whirling colours. No longer weak, he took the opportunity to do a bit of training with the clan's warriors. He was so excited to feel his muscles growing stronger and to see his reflexes getting quicker. After a long stay, he was ready to move on and see the rest of the Sornieth.

Before Morgwen could bring himself to fully leave behind the lands that cared for him so, he made a quick rest stop in an average-sized clan nestled deep in the Gladeveins. Located in a massive tree, though much smaller still than the Behemoth, Virilux was quite the scenic place, and filled with kindly dragons led by a humble king. He spent a few days with the clan, eating foods he knew he may never eat again and enjoying sights he would certainly miss before taking off once more.

Morgwen knew he could no longer spend any more time in the nature clans, embracing his destiny far away. Bracing himself for a long journey, he soared across the sea, hardly knowing where he went in the darkness of the night. There were storms that knocked him over in howling shrieks, tossing him into the sea. Morgwen didn't remember anything else after that except darkness...
A few days later, he finally woke, coughing water from his lungs. He dreaded what he might find, reluctantly opening his eyes. There, Anemone was, a beautiful coral and flower, smiling at him. She had sat by the shore for days, tending to him until he woke. She had saved his life.
"Welcome to the Moonlight Clan," she whispered, leading him across the sand.
Morgwen didn't know how to describe the warmth he felt inside, letting her guide him along. He just knew that they were nesting for the next few days. He felt such inexplicable joy when he laid eyes on his first child, Cornflower. She was blue like the sea, reminding him of the day he came. However, he knew his destiny was elsewhere in a land far away. Still, wherever he may go, he knew he had loved ones all the way across the ocean.

There was a period in his travels where the company slowed down and it would be few and far between before finding a suitable place to stay. Eventually after exhausting most of his rations and could not will himself to fly any longer, Morgwen settled for setting up camp on a sheltered bay lying somewhere between Water and Light territories. A quiet evening alone watching the stars and the sea, reflecting on their journey thus far. Musing to the warm flame of a fire he built, he asked it "What IS my purpose?" and paused, continuing the one sided conversation in his head. Morgwen sighed and softly shook his head muttering to himself " ... well, for now I suppose its to catch myself fish so I wont go hungry."

An older coatl of vibrant blue hues emerged from the forest after seeing the rising smoke from the fire and hearing sounds of frustration. Calling out to them from afar he introduced himself as Minali and asked if he needed any help.

Morgwen was in luck! This older drake really knew his stuff and passed down some skills of the trade that will definitely serve him a lifetime. There was a ways to go before reaching a town, but Minali gave him directions and some parting wisdom. After gathering his things Morgwen wanted to thank the stranger before departing but Minali had seemed to vanish into the forest.

After many days of travel Morgwen decided to settle down within a clan for a few days. While spending his time resting the youngsters of the clan were giggling amongst themselves, curious he asks what they’re doing, “oh nothing sir, just showing funny memes.” Meme? What’s that?

The youngsters show him some funny things they found and viola! A meme was born!

Morgwen set off again, landing in the canyon city of Shockspark Split. The city was busy with Night of the Nocturne activities—some dragons celebrating, some decorating, some giving gifts too early out of excitement. The rest, well... The rest spent their time protecting the inner city from any invading mimics. Morgwen decided he’d stick to the festivities, getting roped into the celebration by energetic locals in Starlight Cove.

Night of the Nocturne raged on as Morgwen made their way into the rusty territory of the Rottrock Rim. They were greeted immediately by the clan deputies and easily made their way into the rhythm of helping around for the holiday. Even with the chill of the land, they felt quite warm in the homely atmosphere. This place is nice, but there's other places to go!
