Cory cats like to live together and do best in groups of 5 or more! They need fine gravel or sand with rounded edges not to injure their barbels.


Monday - Cherry Barbs
Temperature: 72°F - 82°F
PH: 6.0-8.0
Peaceful and shy - these fish do best in schools of 6 or more. The males turn bright red when they're ready to spawn!


Tuesday - Betta
Temperature: 75°F - 80°F
PH: 6.0 - 7.5
Bettas (including females!) can be aggressive to many other types of fish, and do best when they have an entire tank to themselves.


Wednesday - Otocinclus Catfish

PH: 6.0 - 7.5
These schooling catfish love heavily planted tanks! They eat algae and require a nearly constant source of food.


Thursday - Ryukin Goldfish
Temperature: 40°F - 80°F
PH: 6.0 - 7.5
Goldfish can live 10-30 years! They can be fine on their own, but like to have other goldfish friends. They require a lot of tank space.


Friday - White Cloud Mountain Minnows
Temperature: 45°F - 70°F
PH: 6.0 - 8.0
Unlike a lot of popular freshwater fish, a school of these minnows won't require a heated tank unless your house is very cold!


Saturday - Serpae Tetras

Serpae tetras have a bad reputation for biting the fins of other fish - but that usually only occurs if they aren't being kept in schools of 6+!
