Vesner claims to have come from the Shadow District. He claims to be the youngest of five. He claims to have ran away and started his own act to make money and send back to his siblings. A real 'rags to riches' story. Other reports say he's the oldest of three. The middle of seven. An only child. He has an arrest record in Wind for petty theft. Plague for grand larceny. He's wanted in several others for questioning in relation to various crimes.

When asked about his record, his defense consists of, "Who's to say what's a crime and what isn't? What if it's... a necessity?"

Vesner has never been reported being seen alone. All eyewitnesses claim to have seen a second pair of eyes over his left shoulder, though it's been too dark to make out even a silhouette. Recently, he's been sighted with a creature named Vali. He touts her as his 'wife.' She doesn't speak. He says that's for the best.

Anyone who's tried to circumvent his authority to speak to her has wound up missing, only to resurface as part of his show. The missing persons are questioned, but insist that they're happier where they are and have no wishes to return to their previous lives.
