Biography

Even though the clan positions inself as neutrally-alighned, it is located in Light territory, therefore sometimes those born in the clan inherit that Light's urge to accumulate knowledge and uncover the truth.
Jeth and Et have got it worst. They became sort of archaeologists (academics, they get someone else to do most of the actual digging) and dedicated themselves to finding and studying everything they can about the civilisations of the pre-Arcanist age.(or is this too earth? the lines sure are thin here huh) Thus, they've discovered an impressive number of written records in these civilisations' lost languages, and with the help from Ivor(extremely unwillingly accepted, mind you) and the local linguistics expert, Rimma (she needs that, seeing how she's the serious kind of traveller), translated some of them, to fing a lot of historical records (apparently dragonkind had quite a lot of encounters with the peoples of the past, wonder why it's all been kind of lost? ), and also fantastical stories, some of which though were pretty hard to understand even after translation. What is that strange land of "Inner-net" y'all are constantly mentioning?
As a big part of the clan are rescued hatchlings and traumatised dragons who want to lose their past, they have created a tradition of giving new clan members names from those old records. Of course, anyone has a right to pick themselves a name of their own choosing after they find themselves, but overall this became the way that especially families which have been in this clan for a few generations tend to follow, as they for the most part have never known other dragon cultures and customs, like two-part names, and feel like this is something special to them, as a family tradition.
( jk im just lasy and have too many oc's to pass up the opportunity :D )
