Memento mori (Latin: "remember that you have to die") is the medieval Latin Christian theory and practice of reflection on mortality, especially as a means of considering the vanity of earthly life and the transient nature of all earthly goods and pursuits.

Memento mori has been an important part of ascetic disciplines as a means of perfecting the character by cultivating detachment and other virtues, and by turning the attention towards the immortality of the soul and the afterlife.

To one, it was quiet yet honest hunches and a sixth sense that guided her true.
- all her children die young for none were blessed or perhaps cursed with a second chance at life create a long offspring list and exalt all

- plants a tree and buries children's remains until she has a forest

- she's a medium of sorts capable of talking to spirits. Her tale will be so well known that it becomes a sort of ritual/legend where one buries their child's remains under a tree so their spirit will be trapped there to roam for eternity.

- of course, others bury their children in hopes of seeing them again and medium-lady will practically adopt said spirit child 'coz she's very much resigned to the fact that the majority buried are her own kids and she will never have a child live to adulthood so what's one more spirit.

- gets an apprentice medium who seeks to enhance his spiritual connection and such. However, apprentice practices necromancy on one of the spirits and she banishes him for using the remains of her dead child to create a monster. She weeps for how could someone she could've considered her own child do something so horrible
