With eyes always on the horizon and an inability to remain still even from a young age, it's perhaps no surprise that Carmila wasn't born to the Tangled Earth Clan. Covered with burrs and brambles she stumbled into the clan's lair one murky night tired and wane, but brimming with wild tales and a spirit that wouldn't be denied. The clan tended her, and allowed her to rest... but neither was it a great surprise when the wild Pearlcatcher disappeared a few weeks later, as suddenly and simply, as she had appeared.

What did come as a surprise, was that she returned.

Again. And again. And again.

No matter how often she leaves, or how far her journeys may take her, Carmila always finds her way back to the Tangled Earth. The clan that cared for her and allowed her stay when she needed it - and then allowed her to wander when she needed that too.

Now, in return, she carries news, stories, trinkets, anything her clan mates might need from afar.... And sometimes even other wayward dragons looking for a place of their own.
