Is he capable of saying more than three words at a time? Likely, but nobody has lived to hear it. Born to a large clan in the Light territory, Muiryn was one of the eldest of many sibling to come. The little ones kept him company for a time, but as they grew into their roles in the clan and gained recognition of their own, he found himself left behind in the bustle of daily life. Soon he grew silent and subdued, preferring to run errands that took him far from home rather than stay and be overlooked. On one of these journeys he met his first mate, a boisterous Spiral who rode the winds and never roosted in the same spot twice. He followed her to Farfell, and was content for a time. But she saw his quietness as coldness, and they grew apart, eventually going their separate ways.

Staying behind in Farfell, Muiryn has found a strange kind of comfort in the high winds and crystalline spires of the Icewarden's domain. Other partners have come and gone, but Muiryn has made no efforts to start a family since then. While he is well loved by the friends and clanmates he's found in Farfell, he prefers solitude. Barring that, he'll tolerate silent companionship.

Muiryn is the sole messenger of the clan. Perhaps an odd choice, given his reclusive nature, but he is diligent in his duties. He works without end, and only seems to be happy when he is in the air, moving from place to place. Caution guides him above anything else, and while he is a peerless flyer, he doesn't like to show off these acrobatic skills near so much as other skydancers.
