  • The royal knight and guard of the princess Hypatia. Often exasperated but rarely overwhelmed, she has a level head and a sharp mind. Importantly, she is loyal to her princess, not to Shatter, and that will prove itself invaluable in the coming battles.

“My Lady-” Regalia ducked aside as a flaming snake launched through the entrance to Galleon’s lair, pursued by a cat. She sighed, peering in to look for Hypatia. “My Lady, Shatter is looking for you.”
The tundra was in the process of trying to extinguish three additional flaming snakes, but managed to catch her breath enough to respond, “We’re a little busy!”
“And she isnt a patient dragon.” Nonetheless, Regalia trotted in to assess the situation, just as Galleon flooded the entire room, sweeping her right back outside. She regained her footing, spluttering, and untangled a now-steaming snake from her wing.
Hypatia came running out, fur positively soaked, and shook herself. “Good news! The snakes aren’t on fire anymore!”
Regalia snickered, handing her back the snake. “I suppose that is good news. Think he can handle the snakes on his own now?”
“I suppose…” Hypatia shifted, handing up the snake to Galleon as he came out to check on them. “But I should probably help clean up....”
“You’re stalling.”
“Am not!”
“Come on. We can’t keep her waiting.” Regalia turned and started to leave, flicking water from her tail.
“Wait!” In barely a second, Regalia found herself pinned to the ground by the massive and very soggy paws of her princess. She tried to twist away, but Hypatia laid down, pinning her with all the weight of her solid body. “Please,” she whispered, “Don’t make me talk to her…”
“I don’t have a choice, you know what she’d-” She was cut off by the tundra’s plaintive whine, and sighed. “My Lady, please. I know her majesty can be difficult to deal with at times, but you won’t make things any better by making her come here.”
Hypatia huffed and laid her head down, nearly suffocating Regalia. “Fine, just… Promise we can snuggle afterwards? I just know she’s going to make me cry.”
“My lady I don’t... “
“Please?”
Regalia regarded her for a moment, then smiled comfortingly. “Alright, but only if you dry off first.”
