- after her master died, she inherited everything of his(?)
- before, she had admired him since he was her caretaker though as soon as she found a hidden stash of his journals (that involved whatever dangerous secrets, blah, blah) her opinion of him is terribly mixed(?? sounds too cheesy: maybe change in the future)

- as mentioned in her backstory, she was sheltered for her life. once her guardian finally died, leaving her hollow and alone, she found mr. fizzle in the wasteland, bringing back her inspiration, happiness, and will to go on.

backstory

Coppélia had been sheltered for practically all of her life, kept away from society in the small subbasement of her Guardian's lair. She hadn't known how or why she came to be there, she knows not of where she had come from or who her real family was. Ever since she was a hatchling, all she had and knew was her Guardian, causing her to be solely dependent on him, just as he had hoped. That and technology, of course. Her Guardian was a dragon of science and machinery, always building project after project. She adored every single one of his creations, and his lessons. The more he taught, the more she hungered to learn. Sure, he never let her go anywhere else, other than to collect bits of scrap, sure he frustratingly never answered her questions about where she came from, and sure sometimes he was a teensy weensy bit harsh, but she was dependent on him. Where else would she go? The deserted wasteland was a harsh place. Plus she kind of understands why he was so overprotective and possessive as he was: it's terribly lonely out here. Rarely any travelers come by, and society is a long, long road away. And however she ended up here in a wasteland as a baby is beyond her, but he still did take her in and care of her, along with teaching her all of these magnificent things that she today still holds dearly. Maybe it's obligation through guilt, maybe it's because of convenience and survival, and maybe it's just because she cared about him too: either way, she stayed until the day he couldn't walk anymore. Then when he was no longer able to breathe.
After his death, all of what was his was now hers. (WIP)
