Rucifer

Totally not an undercover, incognito lord of the Underworld of something with a similar name, what are you talking about? He's on vacation, try not to think too much about it.

Why is he here, you wonder? So does he. He was just chilling one moment, and standing here with a blue dragon in a forest, the next. After trying to get home, sinking into the mud, struggling against the vines, stepping on an awful log and having a bunch of terrible skittering insects running all over him, he realized he was, in fact, in an ever better Hell! So he's on a vacation, taking notes, testing new and terrible traps, and currently bartering with Aaridhaeon to swap familiars so he can do some interesting testing with her Strangler.

At some point he realized that their tiny clan had gotten quite big and had clawed himself a nest under a boulder and gotten to testing. And sleeping. And maybe even... enjoying himself?

Dragons now leave blood offerings on the stone in front of his cave whenever they need to pass by, which is all the time, because Aaridhaeon lives on the Boulder and considers it her greatest treasure, in dire need of protection.

Its been a few months and Rucifer is trying very hard to not notice he doesn't want to go back to managing "Hell". This place is way worse. Also, he's totally in charge, so he's allowed to give himself an extended vacation for however long this place exists, right?

Aaridhaeon's Strangler made itself a new family around the base of the boulder, and so Rucifer can study them all he wants, though he gives the stink eye to any surrounding dragons and slinks back into his cave if he can't have privacy doing so.

The newer clan members haven't actually properly seen him, ever, just a glimpse of a tail, or glowing green eyes staring into their souls. They've started theorizing that he's actually a dark god of the forest or something, and Aaridhaeon's the only one who stops him from escaping the boulder she guards fiercely.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the clan, the strange Mirror dragon in various skins always hanging out with Aaridhaeon at dusk, that most theorize is her secret boyfriend from another clan, is actually Rucifer successfully pretending to be someone else. That someone else is very much allowed to enjoy the gladewilds, thank you very much, and has no need to prove to his subordinates that he was being terrible and evil all along.

To help him keep up the pretenses, Aaridhaeon gave him the nickname "Ruus". "Ruus" and Aaridhaeon are very much allowed to date as well, thanks.
