Biography
Chuillyon is rarely seen, and usually not in physical form: he is a minor god of Truth, and generally does not interact face-to-face with mortals, even those who revere him. Truthfully, even he isn't entirely sure how he got here: Sunborn called him, and then he was... trapped. But it means the Everdark and the curse on it is strong enough to contain even him. Chuillyon has dedicated himself to helping the Lanternlighters find their way out, whatever the cost. The curse seems to have contained him to a single dragon form with limited power to call on, and while he does not lie very few believe that he is what he says he is. To their eyes, he is just an eccentric with an unexpected devotion to the truth, and he can do little to fight that assumption. |

Faction
The Seekers, led by Lux, believe that the only way to break the curse on the Lanternlighters is to venture into the Everdark, seek out its source, and either reason with it or destroy it. They make frequent excursions into the darkness, accompanied only by lanterns and what magic they can afford, trying to map its corners and find the center. Lux theorizes that whatever lies at the heart of the Everdark is alive; perhaps, whatever it is, it can lift the curse. Chuillyon admires those who seek the truth despite the dangers, and he can sense that there is something to learn about the Everdark; he is far too interested in it to not search for it. He supports the Seekers in as many ways as he can; at least his magic has remained, even if many of his powers have been sealed away. |

Possessions
Chuillyon is unused to the needs of a mortal body, and the sparseness of his possessions is as much in part because he isn't sure what he needs to survive as it is that he doesn't own very much. Previously, he had been sustained on magic; now, he must eat, drink, and sleep as much as any of the Lanternlighters. He keeps magical artifacts related to the Lightweaver, whose domain he serves, and often forgets about the rest. He does have one physical possession: a shield, a gift from the paladin Izluna in order to keep him safe. He treasures it; he has never earned a gift on his own merit, rather than because he is a deity. It is a peculiar feeling which he doesn't know what to do with. |

Sunborn | Paladin | Sunlighter Faction Sunborn has been a paladin of Chuillyon for a long time, and he has a soft spot for her. Even now, when her goals directly conflict with those of the Seekers and Chuillyon himself, she is seeking her own sort of truth; he has the power to take her magic from her, but he won't. He cares too much for her wellbeing. |

Izluna | Friend | Sunlighter Faction
Because of his bond with Sunborn, Chuillyon has gotten to know many of the Sunlighters; to his surprise, he has formed a friendship with Izluna. She is also a paladin, though of a different god, and she believes that Chuillyon is what he says he is. That is a rare bit of acceptance in Beacon Town, and Chuillyon feels more at ease when he doesn't have to pretend. |

Lux | Leader | Seeker Faction Lux is, technically, Chuillyon's superior; he is not used to working under others, but he admires Lux's dogged pursuit of this mystery, her unshaking devotion to finding the truth of the Everdark. If she asked, Chuillyon would grant her his own magic; as it is, she is unlikely to ask. She does not believe Chuillyon is a god, and he cannot do anything to prove it to her. |

There is something interesting about Lonan, since he lost his eyes; Chuillyon senses that he can see something new, a truth yet undiscovered. Now is not the time to ask, while he is still recovering, but Chuillyon has been watching over him, just in case. |
