A lazy, good-for-nothing consumptive wretch of a soul, Tain has absolutely no concern for responsibility or obligations. So much so in fact, that despite the rarity and purity of his blood, he was jettisoned out of his home from his parents. Dropping right into Taernyll's lair entirely by chance, he hadn't finished dusting himself off before he began to entertain approaching shapes and faces with answers, all lies, to the barrage of questions that rained upon him. His charisma his greatest quality, Tain managed to convince Skrum of keeping him within his home as an honored guest-- an Ambassador to the light clan that abandoned him with the fire drakes. Several of the denizens of the lair believe Skrum a fool, but much to anyone's surprise Skrum is simply holding the drake hostage, intending to find the clan who he comes from and ransom back the Imperial slug if he's not compliant.
Tain spends his time trying to find a cure for his boredom, and trying to flex his nonexistent authority over other clan members as ambassador. He's yet unsuccessful in appropriating anything more than other's displeasure and several times most dragon's accumulated hours of sleeping.
He plays runes of the arcanist in his copious free-time, and despite his unsavory mooch behavior, he shows great aptitude in recreational actions. At least any that don't require him to do any heavy lifting.
He loves to give bad advice, that he believes will make everything easier for everyone, but has a coincidental string of good advice to give to Shor for brewing malt drinks. Completely taken by drinking, he is always the first one to try some of his new blends and distills.

His nature is to try to flirt with everyone who will have his company, but as of yet, no one within the clan has tolerated him long enough to entertain any of his advancements.
