Whenever a dragon from the Clan of the Stormy Leaves wants a job done but doesn't want to get their hands dirty, they go to Owl. Charismatic and rowdy, she is willing to do anything for her adoptive clan – for a price.
Hailing from the west, from a gang of dragons known only as the Seekers, she was forced out after starting a fire in her town. At the time the Seekers were at war with another gang, the Riveters, and the fire was an attempt to force them out of town.
Needless to say, it failed. Confronted by the rest of the Seekers and forced out after her dangerous attempt and failure to get rid of the rival gang, Owl traveled far and wide before eventually settling in the Clan of the Stormy Leaves. She quickly grew close to her clanmates, especially Kelly, and decided to remain, becoming their go-to bounty hunter.

Fire. It was everywhere, burning everything it touched and eating up everything in its path. The light from the blaze drowned out that of the stars and even the moon, lighting up the sky in a reddish hazy glow.
Owl stared down at it from her place in the sky, reveling in the way the flames licked the air. It was beautiful, a warm orange with flecks of red and yellow that roared with an inner life as it destroyed the Riveters' homes. The spiral dragon smirked at the sight. That would drive them out for sure.
With a powerful flap of her wings Owl was gone into the night, the only sign she had been there the powerful flames and thick charcoal smoke. The dragon flew only a short way before she swooped toward the ground, heading toward a rocky canyon. It was jagged and steep, the bottom a dark seemingly impermeable shadow in the lack of starlight. Owl headed for an even darker shadow.

HISTORY

She alighted upon the ground in front of another dragon, this one a guardian with a harsh scar across the bridge of his nose.
The spiral spoke. "It’s done," she said, voice a beautiful contrast to the other's rough appearance. "Them folks’ base has been destroyed."
The guardian nodded his head. "Good. And you were not found out?"
Owl smirked. "Of course not, what do you take me for? No, they’ll have no idea."
The guardian nodded again then turned around and walked towards a crevice in the rock. Owl followed behind him, shivering slightly. The chill of the canyon wind was a sharp contrast to the heat of the fire, and she knew it would take some time to get used to the crisp night air.
The crevice was small at first, barely large enough to emit the guardian, but Owl's long and slender body was able to fit with ease. It quickly widened out into a large cavern. Dragons mingled, strolling around with purpose. Owl relaxed.
It was good to be back home.

"Ya set their outpost on fire!?"
Owl couldn't help but wince at the anger in her leader's voice. The wildclaw was glaring at her, purple gaze blazing with anger. He hissed at the spiral.
"You idiot! Ya could have burned down the entire town!"
"Well I didn't," Owl pointed out. She was getting irritated at the other's lack of faith in her abilities. As if she would've burned the whole town down! "The water dragons stopped the blaze before it went too far, no harm done."
"Not for the lack of tryin'," Hawk grumbled. He paced back and forth, tail lashing wildly. "And it didn't even work. They're still here."
"Ain't my fault," Owl protested. "How was I supposed to know they had another camp?"
"Y'shouldn't have had to!" Hawk snapped. "I told you'd to get rid of 'em, not make 'em more out to get us! Now they're only gonna retaliate!"
Now that's not fair.
"Hey now, you told me to do something and I did," Owl said. "What they gonna do afterwards ain't none of my business."
"Yer right. It ain't."
Owl frowned. She didn't like the sound of that. "Sir?"
Hawk turned to face Owl. His eyes were narrowed furiously. "Yer no longer welcome in this town," he hissed uncaringly. "I reckon you have three hours to collect any belongings, and then I want you out of my sight."
Owl's jaw hung open. She was getting kicked out?
"But sir!" she cried, not believing her ears. "C'mon you can't just..."
"Watch. Me."
The two dragons stared at each other for several long moments, before Owl dipped her head. She wasn't stupid; she knew when to pick her fights. And Hawk wasn't someone she wanted to mess with.
"Yes sir," she mumbled. "Three hours and I'll be gone. You won't see me again."
Hawk nodded. "Good. You best move on now." And with that he turned his tail and stomped off.
Owl didn't know where she would go, but one thing was for sure.
Things were about to change.
