Biography
Monkshood Glistaer, a Tundra who is unlike others in that he is far from gentle. He is a burly, short-tempered (and generally short) dragon who seeks to rid the world of evil, starting with the abominations of the Hewn City, scouring it alongside his best friend Karido the Corven. Sworn nemesis of Pain: the Harbinger of Despair.
Selected Virtue: Dauntlessness
Hindering Vice: Wrath
Monkshood ultimately seeks righteousness, and though brusque and brooding, does want to be a good dragon. He wishes to nip the source of suffering at the root by eliminating bad dragons, bloodthirsty monsters, and evil entities. He sees the world in black and white and does not tolerate the notion that darkness can be good. While some see him as close-minded, he does have a point, as many who try to experiment with darkness often fall to it and become warped and corrupt individuals. Monkshood also has no tolerance for bullying and will "beat the ever-living tar" out of anyone who would harm an innocent dragon.
While one can't see it under the hood he made of a chimera he slew, he is also very bashful and shyly flinches when a pretty she-dragon flirts with him. He's also...surprisingly hammy and overdramatic when other dragons speak to him. He speaks in a deep, gravelly voice that he actually puts on in order to seem more intimidating and talks like a character in an old play. He promptly storms off, frustrated and embarrassed, when dragons eventually laugh at his over-the-top mannerisms.
He would change his breed to a Gaoler to better suit his life's mission, but he's on the fence on that matter, given that means he would lose his awesome outfit that he paid an arm and a leg for, and how wasteful would that be?
