Biography

Prophet, sort of
He/Him
Blind as a bat, despite all the eyes, but his cane and seeing-eye familiar help him get around. His parents prayed to the gods to give him vision, but they bestowed a different gift upon him. Scler is the reasearch team's prophet, but his visions aren't exactly visions; he claims he can hear the future coming. He adores beautiful sounds, saying they allow him to see swirls of color in his mind's eye.

Lantana
Her singing brought rich rivers of gold and royal blue to his dark world. He fell hard, and she accepted his confession. They were wed after a whirlwind romance, and neither looked back. Although his own voice has grown rough from disuse, in the quiet hours of the night she teaches him how to sing his own melodies.
Leppa
The little fae's droning voice isn't exactly pleasant, but her kindness in letting him stay with her team meant the world to him.
Omega
She reprogrammed his Coppercoil Creeper to work as a SEF (seeing-eye familiar) and he couldn't be more grateful. She keeps refusing payment, so he's trying to find sneaky ways to show his gratitude.

He sounds upbeat and energetic, but Scler can hear darker notes buried beneath the charm. He's courteous when the imperial is around, but he's keeping his ears pricked and his claws sharp, just in case.
