Biography
Back in her younger years, Irid was a medic for her clan in the Windswept Plateau. The war against the Shade was especially intense at the time. Her exceptional skill in the medical field was greatly needed and so she joined the effort. How she arrived to the Tangled Wood was directly related, sent overseas alongside soldiers and fellow medics to aid an allied outpost in the battlefield. The outpost itself was called Demoria, led by two dragons named Draven and Uriel. Irid was there for months and she became well acquainted with the pair of mirrors. Many familiar faces came and went, some never to be seen again.
In her time there she became very familiar with the region and even took a liking to it. At that point, the wars were beginning to subside in their intensity, less injury and death to look after. Irid decided to stay in the Tangled Wood, making Demoria her home. While the place was no longer a military outpost, it had become well known as ‘the place with all the really good doctors’ and that led to many different dragons stopping by. Enough sought permanent residence in Demoria that it could be considered a town. With a proper community being established, it obviously needed someone to lead, and what better authority than the dragons who know how to keep the rest of the townspeople alive?
It was inevitable really, everyone had silently decided the doctors were the most knowledgeable and responsible, therefore fit to lead. This led to Irid taking the role as head of Demoria while simultaneously acting as the last resort when a medical case is particularly dire and cannot be resolved by the other doctors.
Trivia that I haven’t figured out how to properly write into her lore:

Trivia that I haven’t figured out how to properly write into her lore:
- She is deeply fascinated with Sornieths moons.
- She’s willing to mentor dragons who are interested in the medical field assuming she has the time to do so.
- She mothers everyone whether they like it or not, just the way she is.
