Eldin has the natural inclination to be silent and observant. Given his imposing height, this tends to make him an unnerving sight to those unfamiliar with his behaviour.

However, it makes him an excellent hunter, with one of the highest kill counts of any in the clan. He is teamed with two of his sisters, Niala and Flora, and they work effectively in spite of the occasional bickering - and Niala's tendency to wander off.

He's quite protective of his only brother, Cedar, particularly due to the aforementioned's rather small stature. During Eldin's rare leisure time, the two are usually found together.

Blood family aside, Eldin isn't very social, and his habit of saying exactly what's on his mind - even if it's harsh - tends to put others off. It's no surprise he's urged to stay and watch stock far away from customers when he's out with Zuehal's caravan.
