- cow. boy II
- born in the shifting expanse, orphaned when his parents lost him in an exceptionally intense lightning storm, flew alone to dragonhome in search of calmer weather
- lives a more or less nomadic life in the desert
- nobody really knows how or why but hes sometimes seen leading entire groups of panthers or bears which is strange because theyre not pack animals and could also swallow him whole
- a murkbottom gull follows him persistently everywhere and her screams and frantic dives are an unmistakeable indicator of the nocturne's presence. shes useful as well though and often scouts ahead for vales
