Biography

Cercis is the accountant of Asphodel Foundation. He was in charge of managing the funds and everyone’s pay check. He also has to deal with the mimics the foundation kept. His health wasn’t as good as before, and was often tired out.

Cercis used to be in a team of three adventurers. He used an innocent and sweet façade to scam people out of money and information. Their last adventure, which was to raid an abandoned clan site, ended badly. He was cursed with red runes that briefly changed him into a monster. Not knowing it was Cercis, his team leader greatly injured him and left him to die.

Aeshna, who was drawn by the commotion, rescued him and sent him to a nearby hospital. Cercis found his leader there, whose injury was much lighter than his. In a fit of anger and feeling betrayed, Cercis quitted his team and joined Asphodel Foundation through Etaoin, who happened to be visiting. They did make up in a latter day, but Cercis was too unfit for adventures by then.

Despite his position, Cercis isn’t allowed to a certain section of the vault. Loren says it is to prevent him from stealing. Cercis doesn’t believe it at the slightest, but is too tired to be bothered.
