Ugyan Estel egy teljesen bizakodó személyiség annak ellenére, hogy gyakran naív; világos tengerkék szemében látni kinek hisz valójában, és kinek nem. Nem mintha annyian járnának a nyomában.
Szerepét, hogy a YU-93 őrzője lehet, elődjétől, Ikuss-tól kapta meg. Estel ugyanis a sárkánylelkeket őrzi, míg társa, Weissei, egy másik Spiral sárkány az emlékeiket. Ketten tartják sakkban a galaxist. Ha nem tartanák folyamatos egyensúlyban, elveszne a többmillió éve őrzött harmónia, ami a világ felborulását okozná.
