She remembered how the world felt so cold. Born of the Southern Icefield, one would merely assume a Honeytummy brought into existence in such harsh climate would be well-adjusted, but this was not the case.

She remembered fleeting glances of her parents' faces, and nothing more.

The sickly squalor of the Plaguebringer's lands were not something she would miss, but at least it had been warmer! She kept to herself in this strange world, surrounded by a strange array of unfamiliar faces- then, once more, she found herself changing clans.

Here, a strange, fluffy dragon greeted her, and attempted to make her feel welcome. It did little to settle the unease in her special tummy. Others did their best to welcome her, but still, there was little to be done to put her worries to rest. None of the others seemed to know much of her kind, and it proved to be an incredibly discouraging venture.

How was she to enjoy life away from her hive, if everything just made her ache for home? She felt so lost.

That, at least, *was* the case, until she met the Skydancer, Caramel.

Like the hive members she scarcely remembered, Caramel could have almost been a long-lost descendent, and she took the lost little Honeytummy under her wing. It intrigued the hatchling to know that there was someone not of their kind that knew so much about them!

She helped her find her name- Esti- and helped her integrate into her clan while also keeping her tied to her roots. Under Caramel's tender guidance, Esti felt certain she would blossom.

Or, at the very least, she hoped.
