About Ink

Don't be disturbed by the hands spiraling and grabbing at things, however you should stay away from the ones that hold this particular Pearcatcher's pearl. Ink himself might not care too much about it, but those hands are mighty defensive of that bundle of memories, and they just might lash out at any reaching paws. The wingless Pearlcatcher of course, will greet you with enthusiasm, and endless questions; Where did you come from? What's your name? What's your element (he might just grab your face and see for himself)? And more. Anything he can think to ask or might babble out of his mouth. Though questions aren't the only thing that flow freely from his mouth, beware the memory goo that spills from between his teeth. He might attempt to wipe his mouth, but chances are he won't notice. Chances are also high that he will forget you as he is talking to you and ask you who you are in the middle of a conversation, or just wander off from the conversation completely. He's not being rude, and we apologize on his behalf. He simply has some severe memory issues due to the fact that he's completely forgotten about his pearl entirely, and his memories and thoughts simply...drip from his mouth to be lost and forgotten.
He might not have wings, but that certainly won't stop this peppy Pearlcatcher. With literal ink as his magic, he can make wings and other appendages that help him get around easily. His hands hold his brush, his pearl, and anything else he happens to misplace or leave, like an over-taxed mother. They place everything they can in Ink's pouches, and hold onto what can't fit, for when he needs it next.
Ink may seem to be constantly peppy and happy with the world, but if you catch him when he thinks no one's looking, you'll see those ears droop, and the light leave his eyes as he sits and holds his tail. His paws worry at the scales there, and pull at the tuft of fur on the end as he mutters. What's he muttering? Well he seems to be having a conversation with himself. Or maybe it's not with himself, it's just with something you can't see. He'll jump and startle easy like this, and will need his medication, which he carries himself, but somehow always forgets until last minute. In this state, no one can approach him, not even Error, because he might get violent in his fear and lash out, and despite his small appearance, he's incredibly strong.

Ink's Relationship

Ink's mate stays dutiful. Error keeps Ink's mane trimmed short, so his magic and memory slime don't get caught in the hair and make an absolute mess. You will often find Error trailing after his mate, and if you don't see them together, you won't ever find Error unless he comes to you. The dark Pearlcatcher does his best to protect his oblivious mate. He picks up the pieces of parchment, discarded brushes, and empty paint tubes Ink's hands miss as he scrambles off to something new. Every morning, he makes sure Ink's scarf is situated correctly on his shoulders and ties his bags back around him and gives him his pearl and brush, knowing later he'll likely have to take the pearl and brush from his belligerent ink hands.
