Skye would have been the daughter of Mervyn and Robyn, if Samael did not alter her body. She is a vampire-succubus-hybrid. Although her self was destructed to create 'Snow', she continued to haunt his dreams.
While Snow forgot his past due to being drugged with the water of lethe, Skye remembered every part. Even in their dreams she was not able to talk about her memories, though, but she tried to help Snow with the parts and pieces she was able to communicate.

Due to their torn soul, Skye constantly gained power while Snow lost his control over his own body, snapping more and more often as the drug lost it's effect. Both knew that Skye's growing power would, sooner or later, result in their death and their only option was Lilith, as she was the only living demon capable of death magic.
Lilith blessed them with her magic and sew their souls together, killing their succubus side and ending their torment with this.
This, however, was exactly what Samael planned for them, knowing that Lilith would only wake if one of her children was in grave danger.
