Now that you all met sweet little jelly donut Anwin, it's time to talk about dazzling, regal, and gorgeous Ari (he'd gladly talk about his resplendence for longer, but those are his three favorite adjectives for himself). Sparkly, friendly, and definitely vain, he sometimes wonders if grouchy Anwin could really be related to him at all. Oh well! He still loves his brother, and their parents and the siblings he's never met, and pretty much everyone he meets. "Falls in love easily," romantically or otherwise, would be an understatement.

Still, there's more to this dragon than meets the eye. When their parents never spent time together, Ari guarded his brother from the sharp, judging gazes of their so-called Clanmates with silly little quips and songs. He knew what they thought of hatchlings like them - they'd grow up...wrong, wild, without guidance. Their best case was serving the Windsinger, but Ari knew he could prove them wrong, he was sure....somehow. The journey with Anwin had been his idea all along, though he'd pitched it to his father first. And despite the bumps, it went really well! Anwin was still grumpy and Ari remained a perfect glimmering beacon of beauty, but they both made new friends and were very happy.
