Little Anwin is as grumpy as can be, a snappy fae with a temper far larger than he is. Perhaps it was because his parents never spent much time together, or perhaps developed in stark contrast to his silly and social brother, but he's difficult to get to know and even more difficult to get to trust you. Since the day he was hatched, he and his one nestmate Ari have disagreed on everything from insect preferences to friendships - his displeasure at his father sending "his little jelly donut" and "his precious little jewel" on a trip together was insurmountable. (It might've been worth it to get away from the nicknames, though Ari refuses to drop the jelly donut thing with him.)
But even he has to wonder where he'd be without his brother, his one trusted friend in the world - except, maybe, for Raspberry, if such a dragon can be considered a friend. Anwin can become very defensive of the dragons he cares about, though that's about his only way of showing affection. Somehow he's become rather attached to that eccentric fae that dens nearby.
