Biography

Pestilence Soilrot-Wildclove
(She/her)

Born in a clan residing on the crest of the Wyrmwound in the Scarred Wasteland, her parents had originally come from the shadow and water flights. She was named for the ghastly state of her eyes that was theorized to have happened due to contact between her egg and the bile from the lake of the Wyrmwound.

She was mainly raised by her clan's midwife, Nacat, who was born with the same eye type as her. And as Pest continued to grow, the pair moved together to the Hellwell Undercroft.

Settling into their new home, Nacat began to care for the hatchlings of dragons passing through, securing her place in the ranks of the few leading plague dragons. Pest did her best to help out her caretaker, however, she did not find pleasure in taking care of young dragons. Instead, she gained interest in the traveling merchants that passed through the territories of all eleven flights. Deciding this is what she wanted to do with her life, Pest researched the art of trading and selling goods and she eventually set off on her journey to trade and sell her various wares.

While selling her wares in the Viridian Labyrinth, Pest came across a clan belonging to a dragon called Tunvond. She sold some of her goods to them, but was charmed by the group of diverse dragon breeds and made frequent visits to them as she traveled. Eventually Gwith, the clan's second in-charge, offered her a home with them, to which Pest accepted.

Pest still constantly travels and sells wares, usually bringing her daughter, Thioh, along with her. She visits Nacat as often as she can.
