Her mother, Saiphos, is the daughter of AmberShy and Melanoseps(the family servient), which nocked her to middle class, but mating with Jarujinia is what locked her in lower class. They were both happy with each other though they pushed their kids to move up.

Eumecia worked hard to gather things that would help the clan in the long run, and has proved herself time and time again as to why she is needed. Fern took an intrest to her when she found a huge pile of chests and money. She loves rocks, all of them, geology being her passion. She also works as an appraiser for the clan.
She never really wanted a mate, but Fern told her that it was there was no greater joy than finding the 'one for you' and promised her she would find her someone. Fern came back not a week latter with Lissolepis. They two instantly ckicked, both loving geology(him focusing on the gems and her on the stone). The jewls they both wear symbolise their love for each other.
