Biography
The Sleepy Wyvern Troupe: Woodwinds Erebus
a master of card tricks and flashy magics, Erebus is a dragon of hidden talents. His favoured instrument is the pipeflute and harmonica, but he's proficient at any sort of woodwind. It's both comical and entrancing to see him perform, since he has to ridiculously contort his neck to coax beautiful sounds out of the instruments.
Erebus is a performer at heart, and enjoys making dragons laugh or gasp in awe. Though, after shows and in the streets, he has no qualms about tricking a few hapless dragons out of a few coins with some showy card tricks and illusions. It's how he and Viri met, in the Terraclae. He'd attempted to scam her, but she caught on and almost attacked him before he dazzled her with pretty Plague magics.
She, as a Nature dragon, had never thought Plague magic could be anything but ugly and destructive. Erebus thought he'd never see a Nature dragon so inclined to raw violence. They were fascinated by each other, and became friends over being the odd ones out in their home Clans. Erebus had been driven out, his pretty and insubstantial magics not useful at all to his survivalist, warmongering Clan.
They busked together for a while, the odd combination of harmonic pipeflute and wild drums attracting good crowds. Viri's inclination to violence kept them on the move, but it wasn't long before they ran into with the proto-Troupe in the Tangled Wood. He's never felt so at home before, with them.
