Main Theme:Child Of Mine

______ Hello traveler, I’m Ribbon, although some here call me mother, for I am the mother for the children who don’t have one. I teach them what their failed parents would have, and take care of them until they want to live on their own. some never leave me, and I’m fine with that. they’re my children after all. you may be wanting to know if I was an orphan. Well, I was adopted before I hatched. My egg was found by a human, and although I couldn’t understand her and she couldn’t understand me she raised me. Once I was old enough to live on my own my human mother showed me a large cavern with plenty of space for me and a whole village of dragons.

______ My human mother stayed around for a few days and went back to the cave where she had raised me. I still see her from time to time as she visits me. Soon after I had settled into my new home a tundra dragon came in. (I suppose I should mention that back then I was a tundra dragon as well. I later found a potion and drank it not knowing what it would do and it turned me into a gaoler.) he was mostly black with a bit of brown as well, his name was Blackice and we fell in love. we had a few children, although all of them were killed by something that was in the area. we didn’t know what was killing them so Blackice set out to find it, he never returned. so, I set out to find it. I found the creature, a large mirror dragon the color of the moon itself. it looked wrong, it had broken wings and was foaming at its mouth. It looked like my husband had done some damage to it, it had a large bleeding gash on it’s chest and was missing it’s right eye. I finished the beast off with a blow to the back of the neck, cracking it’s spine. After that I traveled to the nearest orphanage and adopted a few hatchlings and brought them home with me In an attempt to replace the hole in my heart, It did more than that. It gave my life a new purpose and I continued adopting hatchlings and even a few eggs. That’s my story, not the greatest, not the worst either.
