VULTURE
Once a Pearlcatcher, it is debatable if Vulture can be called such anymore, as her pearl has been shattered and her form warped by the experiments that brought her back to life. She has no memory of her former life, and a few have speculated that this may be due to the state of her pearl. Her current state is thanks to the work of Metoa. The necromancer used her remains in an experiment and found a rare success, bringing her to life with mind intact. With nowhere else to go, and oddly intrigued by the Spiral, she found herself traveling alongside him. Eventually the found their way to a secluded hollow near the Wyrmwound. There, Metoa had a safe place to continue his work, and in the removed area Vulture did not have to worry about discovery by the Plaguebringer and punishment for her undead state. They lived this way for a long time, before one day finding that their home was part of territory granted to a young Skydancer by the Plaguebringer herself. Unwilling to move, but wary to go against their deity, they struck a deal with the Skydancer and became Queen Stellar's first subjects. |
