elm is the passion-filled, brave, and daring leader of the bramblebolt clan. he is responsible for the well-being of his compatriots as they travel together across the vast lands of sornieth. though small and assumed to be weak, he is highly intelligent, and excels in ranged combat as well as trap-making. camouflaged perfectly among the trees, he is a lethal adversary.
on one particularly strange evening in the shifting expanse, a duo of migrant nature dragons stumbled upon a rather tiny, lone egg, and took it back with them on their aerial trip back to the viridian labyrinth. within the week, it hatched, and surprisingly, this hatchling that arose from its lightning egg looked akin to its new nature-born foster parents. elm's life was like any other's - save for the fact that during his early years, his soul felt a powerful calling. when he got old enough to leave his home, that calling drew him back to the shifting expanse, where, unbeknownst to him, he would find his best friend and soulmate. when he returned home to have her meet his foster parents, however, they had already passed away. their dying wish was to have him inherit leadership over the clan in their eternal absence - and elm sought to it that this wish would be fulfilled. he now leads the next generation of his adopted family and new friends, making sure that no harm ever befalls them. |
