CROCO DRACONEM
Subspecies by DrakeDynasty
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
From up above or down below, Crawls prowling ghoul. No sound. No hiss. Only the quick kiss Of Death. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Ambush Hunter | Magic Preserver | Loyal Warrior The Croco Draconem is considered to be both a wonder and an abomination. Croco means crocodile and Draconem means Dragon. Crocodile Dragons are the result of crocodiles and dragons mixing their species to produce unique offspring through dark elemental magic. They are a rare subspecies of dragons that only originate from earth, plague, water, wind or nature-based elemental magic. While mystifying many inhabitants across Sornieth with their rare appearances in the wild, they are also responsible for instilling fear in those who travel deep into the woods or those who set out to explore the open waters. These monsters are experts in camouflage and use the element of surprise to nab their prey, sometimes other dragons. Magic Abilities The Croco Draconem are preservers of natural elemental magic. They are powerful storehouses for magic and life force energy that is derived from wind, plague, earth, water or nature elements. (This includes other living organisms.) The waters they swim in increase their magic storehouse for water-based abilities, likewise, this goes for wind, plague, earth, and nature-based abilities. They have to interact with specific environments to gain their abilities. Therefore, they have to interact with a specific environment at birth to gain their primary ability. This is the passive ability and it is different in each Croco Draconem based on the birth flight's lair or any other specific location/element that they interacted with at birth. (i.e, dragons born in a wind flight lair will have its passive ability to store wild elemental magic within itself. Gen Ones born in a water location on the World Map will be born with passive water abilities.) The magical abilities developed from thereon are purely circumstantial but only limited to their abilities to extract magic from water, wind, plague, nature and the earth elementals. Importance of the subspecies Croco Draconem are considered to be an essential evil. They keep other major predator numbers in check and ensure that certain regions remain unpopulated by beastclans or other dragon clans. This helps preserve the pristine nature of certain locations that otherwise may be overrun by clans for not only land but also natural resources, including all forms of elemental magic supply. The Ambush Hunters ``` The forest barely whispers as two shadows flash through its depths. Silent and invisible, two dragons dart through the flickering lack of light, one a vaguely Nocturne shape high in the trees, the other a sleek Mirror hidden by the dark waters of a nearby lake. Their movements are parallel as they race on air and in water, barely disturbing both as they moved. The trampling of the beast behind them shatters this rapid symmetry. A Wartoad’s roaring cry pierces the air as it spots the Nocturne gliding through the trees, weaving between clustered branches with startling agility. The Wartoad lunges, but comes up with branches clamped in its jaw as the Nocturne snatches a narrow escape. The dragon never starts, never flinches, as it hurtles through the air at breakneck speed. Its calm eyes meets the hidden form of the Mirror in the water, and an odd hiss echoes through the air from its throat, follow by a series of sharp, lyrical clicks. The Wartoad lunges again, but the Nocturne spins, diving out of the way as the Wartoad trips over the ground, heading straight for the body of water just beyond the trees. Seconds before it hits the water, the Mirror lunges. Great jaws clamp around the hard, leathery skin, and then the Mirror is retreating, dragging the Wartoad back into the depths. The beast struggles, and the Nocturne streaks down from the sky to deliver a final blow. A loud splash is all that remains of the monster as it goes limp. ``` Hunting Sequence written by MythicalViper People to ping @FlapAscent @CheeseCakes @SerpentxBreeze @sitten1115 for wind uncommon male Things to do Folklore Legend Badge Creation Banner Artwork Contact offspring owners Contact Fronna's Breeder Caring for Croco Draconem Guide Trainers Association Breeders Association
