Head Representative of the Lightning Flight
Before you rests a small contraption with just one big, red button on its face. As you press the button, you hear a tinny voice coming from what you can only assume is a speaker hidden somewhere within its machinery.
“--thing on?” it asks, the voice distant and quiet. There’s a quiet muttering in the background, followed by the first voice making a startled noise. There’s a shuffling sound, and then --
“OH, HELLO THERE!”
This time, the voice is booming and Nadezha has clearly moved too close to whatever recording device she was using. The muffled voice in the background seems to say as much, and after some more shuffling, Nadezha resumes speaking.
“Sorry. New gizmos and all, y’know? Anyway, hello! Thank you for supporting Lightning with your generous donation of supplies. It was supplies, right? Yes, right, I’m sure it was. Well, thank you. We’re in the middle of some very important work, so I can’t dally long. It’s quite exciting, really. We’re designing a prototype for an Arcanomechanical Reactive Chamber for -- well, it’s a long story really, and I do need to be getting back to work. I know I’m a bit scatterbrained and distracted right now, or really, always, but I just wanted to thank you once more. Your contributions are vital to our work and make our lives much easier. If, no, when we beat this whole thing, it’s going to be largely thanks to you. So yes, thank you. Now I need to go play my part, so, toodleoo!”
There’s a crackling noise, and then the gizmo begins to spark. It seems that the message may have overloaded its circuitry. Within moments, it has caught fire, and soon there’s little more than a pile of fried circuits and scorched pieces of metal, though it did at least last long enough to deliver its message.

After Nadezha's time as a general, they remembered back on the contributions Pumplin and their secluded lair had made to the effort. They decided to make a visit to the lair, this time in person, and learned to appreciate the quiet and peace of the sea after a long time of stressful organisation and pressure.
Pumpkin offered Nadezha a place to call their home and a position as the official Representative of the Lightning Flight to the clan. They happily agreed and soon made themself a home and a workshop.
