The meaning of yoko is yo (sun) and ko (child) thus meaning yoko is a child of a star. He is the son of a great and mighty Kami but chose to live as a yokai so he could be with Tsuki, the Oni King, against his fathers' will. This is why he does not know where he came from, and the only hint he has about his past is his name, which denotes he was the child of a celestial being.

Joined by his husband Tsuki, they soar through the sky like meteors during a shower and seek after knowledge and access to the world beyond. Yoko is very close with * thus forming the North and South Star alliance between Vusk and Zenai.

Vusk is home for any lost star who dreams of becoming part of the great cosmic dance. We welcome you home.
