One third of the trio of young dragons who call themselves the Ghost Club. Moongaze is the more restrained out of the trio, and often keeps her friends from leaping before they look. She is also the one who keeps track of all the ghosts they meet, carefully noting details such as age, condition, personality, and anything they ask of the Club.

Moon's egg was found by the now-disbanded Retrievers, who brought it back to the Rest, where it was given to the only pair of Nocturnes in the town at the time, Andromeda and Pathfinder. The two were already taking care of an egg, but they accepted Moon's anyways. Both Moon and her adopted sister Amorra were shy, introverted children, even around each other. Amorra spent her time buried in books, while Moon stayed up late watching ghosts that only she could see. This behavior concerned her parents, who reached out to Koi, the only dragon at the time who had any medical knowledge. Predictably, she wasn't any help, but she did mention that her daughter Persephone and the orphan Mirror Faramir were experiencing something similar. The adults introduced the three young dragons to each other, and the rest is history.

Now, the Ghost Club are almost never seen apart. The Rest's constant flow of travelers both living and dead provide an endless supply of things for them to do, errands to run on, and stories to listen to. When she's not trailing behind her two excitable friends, Moon is often in the archives doing research, at the Kitchen Sink drinking tea, or managing to do both without spilling her drink all over her books.
