Mierna was born from a long line of unnatural dragons; "glitches" in the universe. Naomi was the first, the Gatekeeper who both existed and did not exist at the same time. Mierna hatched in a clan full of such dragons, but she grew curious of the outside world. She wandered away from home frequently, and didn't come back one day. She found her new clan full of strange dragons like her, but she still felt lonely. None of them were truely like her. The only thing they had in common was being strange. She sunk deep into a depression, until she met Belladona. Belladona’s magic was more than just more powerful than other dragon’s, like Nanasi. His was truely unique. They bonded instantly, and his fine control over his light helped her learn to control her fading. She can choose where she comes back, or come back right after shifting. It’s not fading anymore, it’s blinking, or distortions. Not only has she found friends, but she found control and peace. She catches bugs for the clan’s insect eaters.
