Rayquaza

Being born in the Wastelands, he was expected to strengthen in adversity, in suffering. The illness that took his parents before he knew them was but a trial for him to overcome. The maggots digging between his claws and eating at his scales were a fact of life. His body barely lift able by his shaking limbs was beautiful!

When the maggots moved to his wings and took his flight away, practically tying him to the ground, unable to go more than a few steps a day was simply... okay? He could not believe any deity would want this for their children. This pain that was so common in these desolate lands.

The desperation for food so much that parents sometimes consumed their hatchlings. Ray feared he could only follow the many that were consumed by the strong, but he could go nowhere. His legs burned and screamed with every step he took. His wings decaying and covered in maggots.

He could only wait... wait to die.

Mia Adoptive Mother

Mia was from the same clan as Ray. She had been unable to watch him suffer, and ran away to try and save him. When she finally managed to find someone who could cure his decay, she became his adoptive mother and gave him a name "Ray". The two are very close to this day.

Not a fan dragon, named him Rayquaza cause he looks like the Legendary Pokemon, but his actual name is Ray
