A traveling loremaster, always moving in search of the next great bardic tale. Cato specifically pursues local folklore and has a fondness for the eerie and unexplained. She will often barter tale for story and food as she passes through villages in Sornieth. On the whole, she is inquisitive, a great listener, and friendly to the point of suspicion. However, at heart, she prefers to think of tales rather than the people they affect and has few close friends. If she stops to self-reflect (which she rarely does, if ever) she would realize she is probably incredibly lonely and using her vocation as a means of finding companionship. Cato always travels around with her pocket-sized parasitic fungus, usually on her back or in a jacket pouch. Although she travels light, she usually carries several scrolls to document her findings and occasionally mementos from people from her travels. She is fairly good at quick getaways as well, since her pursuit of the unexplained often leads to secrets people would rather keep buried.
