You find yourself alone, surrounded by cold and nothingness.
The wind whistles under your hood, making your skin tighten.
The snow crunches under your feet, and you feel your claws digging into the ground.
You straighten as you hear the wind subside, before it hits you, at full force, whipping up once dormant flakes into a flurry of chaos.
You hear a ghastly shriek, but you can't tell where it's coming from.
The shriek stops and you feel safe. You hear the crunching of snow, but it's too late.
Teeth sink into your throat, and you feel hot liquid coat your neck and torso.
You collapse, limbs unwilling to move.
You try to exhale as your eyes flutter shut, visions of skeletal dragons dancing behind them.
Your breath hitches and then...
