• O R I G I N •
It came as a shock to the Council that a Fire dragon would be allowed to remain within the walls of the Frigid Penitentiary free of bars or chains. Back then, wounds were still fresh from the First Tragedy and those born of the flame were not easily trusted. Akaron was a volunteer from another Clan who stepped forward to aid IceFallen during Reconstruction. His craftsman skills and knowledge of architecture were invaluable to the wounded Clan. When the Penitentiary reconstruction was completed, High Overseer Boreas met with the other male to thank him for his hard work and offer him a permanent place among their ranks.
• P E R S O N A L I T Y •
There is very little that could disturb the zen that surrounds Akaron. Mild mannered and friendly enough to get along with anyone, he is well liked by both Gaolers and Exalted dragons of IceFallen. For a fire dragon, his passion is not explosive, but focused and and expressed through the craftsmanship of his work.
• C U R R E N T L Y •
Akaron is Steward of the Frigid Penitentiary. Together, he and a team of Exalted dragons rebuilt the penitentiary after the First Tragedy left it in ruin. The project was extremely ambitious and became something of a masterpiece once completed by the Architect and his team. His automatons continue to maintain the structure on a regular schedule overseen by their Banescale creator. This additional attention to detail has assured that no prisoner may escape due to structural deficiencies. It is not uncommon to hear the sound of metal striking metal and see the flicker of flame where this dragon dwells in his roost. He spends his free time crafting beautiful works of art in the form of fine swords and highly decorated armor. This knowledge and skill comes from his birth-home, a small clan of artisan Banes dedicated to the art of crafting specialized weapons to fight the Shade. His choice to come to the aid of IceFallen was as much a truce as it was an alliance against a common enemy in the name of his birth-home. Despite the fact that he is not a Gaoler dragon, Akaron guards a Greater Horror that is trapped within a sword crafted by his ancestors. The sword was entrusted to him once he proved to his clan that he was strong of will and resisted the temptation whispered to him by the evil imprisoned in the sword. The weapon is often carried with him when he travels so that it does not fall into the claws of weaker willed creatures. Otherwise it is kept in a magically reinforced tomb deep in the bowels of the Frigid Penitentiary. The blade is driven deeply into volcanic rock at the center of a pool of magma enchanted by Akaron himself.
