"It was an unusually hot summer when Eunomia arrived, a tiny fae, who's sunburned skin stretched visibly in the sun. I think she gave everyone a bit of a scare when she appeared in camp. All blistered and burnt. She stumbled into the lair, barely glancing at the guards, wandered over to the stream and without much hesitation sank down into the cool water. It was at this point that the silver skydancer called over a healer and the basic questions were asked.

Her name, Eunomia. Why she was here, water and food. Why didn't she have water and food, her journey went on longer than expected. She was very frank in answering all these questions, presenting a rather dry sense of humor. She went on to explain that she had gone on a long journey, she was seeking something, she's still not quite sure what. The silver skydancer tried to help her figure it out,

"Knowledge?"

"No."

"Wealth?"

"Probably not."

"Friendship?"

"I don't think so."

Eunomia puzzled the silver skydancer, but she did not appear threatening and was, as everyone is, welcome to stay as long as she wanted. And so she did. Eunomia quickly became a pillar of the lair.

After the Great Ravage, the death of the silver skydancer, and the departure of the founding members Illarion and Tamarix, Eunomia grew to be a devoted leader under the guiding hand of the silver skydancer's chosen successor, Themis. In the present day, Themis has retired, Eunomia is now the leader, and she has chosen Lucifer as her successor.

What a funny little thing I must say though, the other day Eunomia approached me rather out of the blue,

"You were there when I first arrived and the silver skydancer and the healer were asking me all those questions, right?"

"Yes, I remember as if it were yesterday."

"I know the answer to her question now, I was seeking belonging. I needed somewhere to belong. Home, you could say."

I admit I was a bit taken aback a first. There were only a few survivors of the Great Ravage, but still why tell me? And then I remembered I am the only survivor that was there when Eunomia was being questioned by the silver skydancer. I'm fairly certain this was before Themis even joined the clan. I think the answer has deepened our bond." - Vortex
