Cybele was born to create life. Even as an egg, the earth beneath wherever she was placed would sprout and grow lush with foliage. By the time Cy had hatched, the small grove in which she had been laid had expanded tenfold, thick with plants and wildlife.

Throughout her childhood, Cybele’s abilities only seemed to strengthen with every day that passed. With every step she took, flowers and blades of grass would bloom in her wake. Wherever she went, nature was sure to follow.

However, this wondrous gift was not without fault. Over time Cybele and those surrounding her came to find difficulty in maintaining the sweeping glades she breathed into existence. Forests became dense and tangled in roots and brambles and flowers grew to abnormally large sizes. Marshlands and deserts she passed by would warp and morph into unsuitable landscapes and soon, she found herself the unintentional bringer of misfortune to those unsuited to forestry.

In a bid to stop herself from bringing harm to those she loves, Cybele secludes herself. Surrounded by a forest of her own creation, now named 'Viridian Gladelands', she barely travels save for the centre most part of the untamable landscape. This is where she resides; at the epicentre of emerald.
